An elderly woman who met former national team captain Shahid Afridi at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium has passed away.

When sharing the video on the Megastar League account on Twitter, Shahid Afridi added the message, "I am heartbroken to hear the sad news that Maa Ji passed away soon after meeting us in the MSL match."

In the video, it is clear that the woman greets Shahid Afridi with affection and that the former captain accords her great respect and dignity.

According to Lala's caption, the woman approached him and expressed her happiness while the cricketer also begged for her pardon.
