The national squad for the Test series against New Zealand has been announced

 


The Pakistan Test squad for the home series against New Zealand has been announced, fast bowler Hasan Ali has returned to the squad while batsman Kamran Ghulam has also been included in the Test squad.


According to the announcement made by the Pakistan Cricket Board, Muhammad Ali and Faheem Ashraf are not part of the 16-member Test squad. Haris Rauf was also unable to recover from the injury so he was also not included.


Fast bowler Naseem Shah, who missed the Multan and Karachi Tests against England, has returned to the Test squad.


Babar Azam (Captain), Abdullah Shafiq, Abrar Ahmed, Hasan Ali, Imamul Haq, Kamran Ghulam, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Rizwan (Vice-Captain / Wicketkeeper), Muhammad Wasim Jr., Naseem Shah, Nouman Ali, Sarfaraz Ahmed in Pakistan Test Squad (wicket-keeper), Salman Agha, Saud Shakeel, Shaan Masood, and Zahid Mehmood.


Two Test matches will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand. The first Test of the series will be played in Karachi on December 26 and the second in Multan on January 3.
