The National Bank has reportedly begun considering printing a 1,000 peso commemorative note featuring Lionel Messi, the FIFA World Cup champion.
On the other hand, a picture of the currency note featuring Messi's likeness is already making the rounds on social media; it bears his name and the name of his football team on the front and back, respectively, but the government has not yet officially announced that such a note will be released.
