End military intervention in Syria; America's threat to Turkey

Washington: America's top military general, Eric Korella, has warned Turkey to refrain from interfering in Syria, saying that it will take strong measures to stop the incursion.

According to Al-Arabiya News, General Eric Korella, a senior military officer of the US military for the Middle East, has warned Turkey in a media interview that military action in Syria could destabilize the entire region.

"I am very concerned about this," added General Eric Corella. This action by Turkey could destabilize the region and it could also pave the way for the escape of 4,000 ISIS fighters imprisoned in 28 prisons in Syria.

The US general also said that Turkey's attack could also threaten the security of the al-Hol camp, where about 55,000 people from the sympathizers and families of ISIS fighters live, 90 percent of whom are women and children.

It should be noted that the Turkish army recently entered the Syrian border and launched an operation against Kurdish fighters, and this operation was accelerated after the Istanbul bombing, which was claimed by the Kurdish militant group.

Turkey initially resents the US policy because the US is a partner of the Syrian Democratic Forces fighting ISIS in Syria and Iraq, which Turkey accuses of running a separatist militant movement.
