Argentina's star footballer Lionel Messi's participation in the FIFA World Cup final against France has been questioned.
According to foreign media reports, Lionel Messi did not participate in the team's training session on Thursday due to a hamstring injury.
Reports suggest that Messi is not 100% fit after the semi-final against Croatia and hence he did not even participate in the training session.
It should be noted that Messi has already announced that the final of the FIFA World Cup 2022 will be the last World Cup match of his career.
Messi, who is playing his fifth World Cup, has so far failed to lift the FIFA World Cup trophy.
Messi is expected to be fit to play in the final against France on Sunday and make his last World Cup memorable by winning the trophy. Keep in mind that Lionel Messi has won the Ballon d'Or award a record 7 times and the FIFA Best Player award once in his career.
He has won 11 different titles, including 4 Champions League trophies and one Copa America trophy, but Messi is waiting to add the World Cup trophy to the awards shelf.
